Solutions was the Event Co-ordinator for the Cooroy State School Centenary which included three days of celebrations and was attended by thousands of students and teachers (past and present).

in 2008. The event was a huge success with thousands of people attending and an expanded program making it one of the most successful Christmas events in the area.
Sunshine Coast Oyster Service wins Excellence in Business Award
Sunshine Coast Oyster Service has won the Micro Business Award
for Restaurant/Food Service/Hospitality at the Sunshine Coast Excellence in Business Awards. Firefly Solutions
prepared the winning entry. Congratulations!
$100,000 Grant for Cooroy Lower Mill Site
Firefly Solutions completed a grant application for Noosa Council which was successful and resulted in $100,000 in funding for the
restoration of the historic Cooroy Lower Mill boiler through
AusIndustry’s AustralianTourism Development grant round five.
Innovation Award for Ritek Building Solutions
Congratulations to winners of the AMP Innovation Award in the 2007 Telstra Business Awards, Ritek Building Solutions! Firefly Solutions prepared the winning entry for them.

Noosa Beyond 2010 Showcase
Noosa COTA Inc hosted the inaugural Noosa Beyond 2010 Showcase on 25 & 26 July at the Noosa Christian Outreach Centre. Firefly Solutions marketed the event which
focussed on all
aspects of living and lifestyle and highlighted the future needs of the
Noosa Shire and the resources available to meet these needs. There
was a wide range of activities including exhibitors' booths,
entertainment, give aways and celebrity guest appearances by Byran Dawe and Iain Hewitson! Their website was also designed and administered by Firefly Solutions.

Women's Day Out
Cudgerie Homestead and Picture of Health held a Women’s Day Out held on International Women’s
Day was a great success with over 30 women spending a delightful day
together.Firefly Solutions assisted with marketing the event which was held jointly by
Cudgerie Homestead B&B and Picture of Health as a way to give women the
opportunity to take some time out for themselves in a relaxing and enjoyable
environment.The special guest speaker,
CJ Jones enraptured the audience with the thought provoking story of her journey
into the heart of Africa and the love and
understanding that can be found in even the most harrowing of experiences.Everyone left feeling relaxed and inspired
and asking when can we do it again? By popular request, the next Women’s Day Out will

Christmas in Cooroy 2006 - A Real Cracker!
Jointly hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, the Cooroy Pomona Lions Club and the Cooroy Rotary, Christmas in Cooroy was held on 9 December 2006 and Firefly Solutions was the Event Co-ordinator. The event was a huge success with thousands of people lining the streets to see the Cooroy Rag street parade and enjoying the entertainment in Apex Park. Christmas
in Cooroy is one of the largest community events held in Cooroy and
this year the program included a street parade (sponsored by The Cooroy
Rag), a variety of competitions (sponsored by Bendigo Bank, Lanhams
Cooroy Home Hardware, Lewis Tyre and Mechanical and Queensland Media
Print), a battle of the bands (sponsored by Cooroy & Pomona IGA),
entertainment, rides and carols in the park.
Firefly Solutions was responsible for generating interest in the event, co-ordinating volunteers and participants, sourcing funding through sponsorships and grants, advertising, promotions, event management and obtaining all permits and approvals.
Climb the Mountain 2006 - Record Funds Raised
Climb the Mountain is an annual event that is jointly hosted by Cooroy Moutain Spring Water and the Cooroy Rotary. It was held on 15 October and raised a record amount of funds for charity. The event is held on the Cooroy Mountain Spring Water property and activities include climbing the mountain, entertainment, market stalls, helicopter rides, factory tours, children's rides, rainforest walks, displays by the Cooroy Fire Service and Cooroy Ambulance and food including a licenced bar. Firefly Solutions role is to co-ordinate the event with Cooroy Rotary and Cooroy Mountain Spring Water and to carry out event management which includes planning, printing invitations, advertising on television, radio, newspapers and event websites, media relations and sourcing donations.
Cooroy Mountain Spring Water wins Rural Industry Macro Business Award
Cooroy Mountain Spring Water has won the Rural Industry Macro Business Award at the Sunshine Coast Excellence in Business Awards. Firefly Solutions prepared the winning entry. The competition was tough but Cooroy Mountain Spring Water shone through as one of the best Sunshine Coast companies once again. Congratulations!
Noosa Social Plan Launch
Firefly Solutions was appointed as event manager by the Noosa Council for the launch of the Noosa Social Plan on 22 September 2006. Mayor Bob Abbot officially launched the Social Plan at the Christian Outreach Centre in Noosaville. The launch included speeches from guest speakers, displays from local community organisations, networking, light lunch and refreshments. Firefly Solutions was involved in the initial planning and budget preparation, prepared a comprehensive event management plan and designed the event invitation. An audio visual presentation was also developed by Firefly Solutions and shown at the event.
